Miami Heat Elbow Double Curl

In Game 2 of the 2014 NBA Final, LeBron James went on a scoring streak in the 2nd half and became unguardable. The Spurs did a very good job guarding him, he was just unconscious. If you watch the Heat you know that Erik Spoelstra loves running elbow actions that usually go into a flex or some kind of hand-off with a weak side pin-down. However, on this set he got the ball to the hot hand, LeBron, by running the double curl action.

In Game 2 of the 2014 NBA Finals the Miami Heat ran this play to get Wade an iso post lifted off the block. It seemed the defense knew this was coming but was still unable to stop the post feed as Wade had a smaller defender on him at the time.

Coastal Carolina run this quick isolation a few times in their NCAA tournament loss to the Virginia Cavaliers. While the Chanticleers lost the game, they had a lot of success with this play.
